As you know I’ve got a few babies on the way in my midst so there will be some serious crafting going on. I’ve been looking through Craft ezine, Ravelry and Burda style but I am less than inspired. I’d quite like to make something I haven’t made before but I may just have to fall back to something I’ve made before. It’s not like I have a lack of things to choose from I just prefer to make new things.

Here’s a look back at my past endeavours I have to choose from:

Good stuff…

I haven’t been blogging.  I know bad Starry. I have however been very busy and also with out internet because we have moved house. We now have a spiffy little maisonette in South East London which is a change (Londoners will know about the south of the river thing). It’s close to a few nice markets, the Greenwich Park and also only 35 minutes max from work, Hurrah! I’m loving the short commute, which is so rare in London. When I get a chance I will take some pictures in the local street and antique markets for you all. Not so much crafty but interesting all the same.

There is crafting going on btw but on mobile internet uploading masses of pictures is probably not wise so I haven’t been taking any. I have however now got a bit of a craft area in the spare bedroom so major crafting is in my future. Currently I have 3 knit projects (for which the pattern may be available soon), a few sock monkeys, a laptop bag and some more baby sewing. Main reason for this is that there are not one but three babies on the way. Siobhán a co-worker, Sean’s sister and a friend of ours Lisal. I’m quite looking forward to trying out some sewing patterns I have in mind for them. It’ll be good practice for when I need some for myself lol. I’m pretty sure they don’t read my blog so there will be update on those.

I’m going to try and blog more. I sometimes think if I don’t have a project to share or pictures to add it’s hardly worth it but I’d liuke to use my blog like more of a diary like I used to way back when I got my first blog. It being read by friends, family and co-workers means I won’t be able to reveal any secrets like I used to but I still hope to be a little more forthcoming with the writing.
