If you’re reading this I bet you are wondering where the heck I’ve been for 3 months… Well it all started with a snapped debit card!

Just after new year I went shopping with Sean. All was going well till I tried to pay, pushed my card into the slot and then proceded to snap it in two. I still don’t know how I did it. I’m laughing at the pure crazyness of the situation till I realise I now can not pay! Can’t get cash out and don’t have much cash. Between us we manage to scrape together enough to buy most of it but now have no cash at all :|.

What I didn’t know when I ordered a card was that they would cancel my old one… I also didn’t think it would take a whole month to replace my card meaning everything, my site, my email, anything paid for by auto card payment would lapse. So it was that the site went down, I lost my emails (I get them forwarded to my domain, stopped doing that now!) and had a very miffed bride to be harrassing me to get her site back up :|.

I am however back up after lengthy discussions and misunderstandings with my host. Cost me twice as much now, well not quite, what with the exchange rate being soooo bad.

I have been crafting. Sewing, crocheting, knitting and card making but I haven’t been taking pictures. I’ll have something crafty to blog about soon though.

In other news, new job is going ok. I’m working much longer hours though. Into the evenings which is icky but it’s A, good to have a job in this time and B, bloody good money. So might have to ride it on out at least till I can save up for a deposit…

That’s news too. In a few months I hope to be moving in with Sean. We virtually live together any way and we enjoy each others company so it makes sense. Besides, it’s a bit cramped at my house now lol.

I’m also trying to convince him we need a dog, not a cat. Who agrees?

It was my baby sis’s 18th yesterday so we’re going to celebrate tonight which should be fun. How quickly they grow. I still remember when she was taking her clothes off and streaking through the garden…

At my sisters for the weekend so tried to see if it worked on her PC. It didn’t work but I sort of fixed the widgets. The old menu is gone and all my text links are gone :(. So my swaps badges aren’t showing but I am still taking part.

Somethings gone wrong with my widgets and now my sidebar doesn’t work correctly. Poo… I’m trying to upgrade now to 2.5.1 in hopes it will fix it but if anyone familiar with wordpress has any ideas…

Well since I opened a shop using eCommerce on another blog which runs on 2.5, I decided to upgrade this blog.

So far so good! I like the new dashboard, though it takes a little getting used to it’s more intuitive. Please let me know if you have any issues using the site.

My favourite new feature by far is the add media function. Far better than 2.2.

Also I completely forgot to choose a winner for my competition. So I’m closing the competition now and will choose a winner once I check who’s posted.

Not a very interesting post I’m afraid!

It might have been raining all day but still it’s nice to chill out at home after being so busy for so long. I might be used to multi tasking but it’s still been a big push to get everything done. I had many many requests for me to knit people Mary Jane booties. They’re all done, gift wrapped and ready to post. Then since I had started on that track I put a couple on ebay with a pattern I made up myself, that better suits the Mary Jane style shape wise, but they didn’t sell. I didn’t think they would do well but was surprised no one wanted them. I’m sure I’ll find someone to send them off to at some point. Then I decided randomly to customise some baby onsies. I’ve pinned them all up and they are ready to sew but I think they need bonding first. I’m hoping those might do well. I’m just trying to do something useful with my hobby. I’m quite up to date with my school work now, waiting on evaluations so I can move on. So it’s all good. Even if I am knackered it’s good knackered. I’ll be sure to update with some images once there’s enough light to get some decent shots.

In other news I found a great WordPress plugin, which I am yet to install, for Ravelry. Which allows me to display my progress on certain projects. I was going to add it after I upgrade, but after hearing all the upgrade horror stories I thought I would hold off upgrading a little while longer. So I’ll install that plugin later tonight. Save me from feeling bad about not blogging more often hehe.

I did have some other things to blog about but I don’t want to while I’m in such a good mood.
