About the domain

Starrilicious.com was purchased on the 27th of October 2007. The site is hosted as a subdomain starry.neo-ilove.com. I’m in fact still using this subdomain because I just don’t have it in me to import everything just now. The name isn’t rocket science, it’s a mixture of Starry and Delicious which I use as pet names for my sisters (Emmalicious and Frankilicious). Danielleilicious didn’t quite work so Starrilicious it was!

I’m hosted by Dacsoft. Who are pwnsome! Their customer service is great and I hope I never have to leave them.

In case you hadn’t noticed my site is powered by WordPress. Though some of the cliquey techie people don’t like it I do. Discovering WordPress was love, even if their forum is snobby…

All my themes are designed and coded by me, by hand. That’s how I learnt and it works for me. I do have dreamweaver but I find it clunky.

This theme is based on the art by Piet Mondrian. His simple art which came from a very complex mind.
His trademark being the black lines over a white canvas and filled occassionally by red, yellow, blue or grey.
I simplified the star in my composition to 5 equal sized circles and chose to stylise my squares and make those also
equal sized.
