…another holiday is on the way!

Valentines and easter to be exact.

I found some very cute Crocheted Hearts that are perfect for valentines themed gifts. I also have my very own pattern for woolly eggs for easter. I also have my Pay It Forward gift to do. I know just what I’m going to make I just need to get started. I hope it comes out ok! I also started a Little Star Afghan another I’m bored, what I can I make that’s easy, project. It’s going quickly. I’m at row 17 (after the initial shaping) and it’s about a foot and a half long already. I’m using the left over Family Favourites yarn I had, with the addition of some blue I had lying around from Woolworth’s.

Well I was bored so I started another project.

The Strawberries and Cream Pinwheel Sweater.

Started: December 2nd
Needles: Pony 16 inch 4.5mm’s
Yarn: Left Overs
For: ???

Done the correct way this time ;)). Clever Starry. I’m about 5 rows short of moving on to the sleeves the sleeves will probably take me a few days. Same garter stitch on the sleeves though. And also I saw an awesome ribbed one on ravelry and I want to try that too now. I think I might make a mini one for my doll once she’s finished of course. She still needs shoes and socks besides her face tut. My mom is already calling me a neglectful mother lol! We are crazy =)).

I also started a crocheted baby jacket but I know this one is going badly when the back seems almost as large as the pinwheel and it’s supposed to be 1-3 months :|. Won’t make a very good baby gift but maybe it can be salvaged for an older child.

I’ve been going stir crazy at home lately. I have had awful joint pains especially in my hips so I haven’t been sleeping too well :(. Hopefully once my bloods come back we’ll know a bit more what’s going on. Does mean I have been stuck at home a lot though. Which usually I would love but with the weather so dreary I crave the sunshine.

I got a few new CD’s though which gives me something new to listen to, plus the additional projects now. I have a meeting on Friday (joy of joys) least I have something to do though ;)).

Time for bed now!

Ok I haven’t been blogging but I have been busy, honest! I’ve almost finished my Amigurumi Doll and I made her a dress while I was on the train bored. It doesn’t fit quite how I’d like but I think once I make the shirt to go under it will be fine.

Also finished the Pinwheel Sweater. Yay! I’ve fallen out with the girl who it was suposed to go t so I’ll just keep it for my hopes chest. Just needs a wash, blocking and sealing up. That reminds me need to get some of those vacuum seal bags. Useful in that damp bedroom.

So now I have got the hang of this crochet doll making I have lots of idea for my own so I’m gonna have a go at that. Need more wool though… Then I want to make something for my sister and my friend. I need to replace the circular needles I appear to have lost. So another trip to John Lewis’ I expect. May as well make it one big shop.

I went to the hospital to have blood taken on Wednesday and the previous week I had my gynae appointment. The doctor recommended the GI diet. Don’t know if I’ll be able to stick to it though. Cuts out a lot of things I love like bread and sugar lol. Well not so much sugar as chocolate. I think I will wait till after Christmas to start in earnest. My arm still bloody hurts though! That nurse butchered me, I wanna sue! I hate having blood taken. Sucks.

:)) Well whatever it is I’ve done it with this uber cute amigurimi doll pattern from Stitch. I’ve almost completed the head and it’s been fun so far, until I realised I was using the wrong crochet technique… oops! I’m so used to making hats I was crocheting into the back loop so she’s gonna be a bit stripey but thats ok. No WIP pics as yet though.

In other news I signed up for my first Knit along. Oooh scary ;)). Ok not so scary but it’s a mystery one so I don’t know what I’m knitting or crocheting yet. Hopefully will be good fun.

I’m tired now so gonna watch a bit of TV and hit the hay.
