It took my camera breaking for me to figure out all the cool stuff I can do with it. I now know how to resize the picture, adjust the file quality, choose the white balance, take black and white photos and many other things that are quite useless to me as the camera isn’t working properly. I’m very tempted to just go buy new one now but I know I will kick myself when I see them in the January sales. I will have to make do with it’s semi functionality till then and hopefully get a really great one in the sales. I love a bargain me.
Another thing I want to see if I can get a good deal on in the sales is a TV. I’ve had mine a good few years now and it’s served me well but I think it’s time to upgrade to a flat screen. Seeing as my TV screen is also my PC monitor I think we can safely spend a little more than I would normally. I’m after a 26 inch or so widescreen LCD, nothing too big as my living room isn’t too big and my 22 inch already looks big in here. Plus I don’t watch a huge amount of TV. I’ve heard the HD TV’s work really well as PC monitors too so I look forward to less blur. I really wish I had sent my PC monitor back to the dealers before the warranty ran out. I really liked it but it just stopped working 8 months in. Prolly sell i on Ebay as I am sure it’s just a loose cable.

Managed to get a somewhat decent picture of my Christmas tree, yay! I personally am very happy with it. I took a video too, but I’m afraid it’s very boring.
I’m also very sad my orchid didn’t flower this year. I didn’t really take very good care of it I guess. At least it is still semi alive. I should know better than to have anything with flowers I always kill them lol. Any other plant I have thrives.

My spider plant started out as a tiny house warming present. I’ve had iit since 1999 when it was 8 inches tall. It now stands a proud 30 inches tall. It’s brother (a flowering plant) died within a few weeks lol.
Then there was the cheese plant. That thing must have loved me. It started as a small cutting from a friend. and when it came time to move home it was too big to take with me I’d already split it to two huge pots and it needed repotting again. So I left it behind :((. My mom used to say it reminded her of attack of the triffids (Or is that Tryphids?) due to the roots that would sprout out when it needed repotting. They were kind of scary. I do have photo’s somewhere I shall have to find them.
I best go have a bath seeing as it’s now 12 noon :O.
